Why do I need to register?

Part of the registration is a consent with Visit order. Everyone who wants to do sport activities in Hangar must be familiar with it. It´s good to know what is allowed and what it not such a good idea. By one-time registration, we can avoid time consuming signatures with every visit.

Besides that, it´s easy to use the registered account for deposit, buy a season ticker or a membership. 

What is the chip good for?

With new registration, you will need a chip. The chip speeds up every entrance. You can simply show it in the reception, and it will be automatically visible that you are a registered member, if you have a partnership or a membership. It´s convenient to insert a deposit to avoid payment each time separately.

But if the chip bothers you, you don’t have to have it all the time! Just take a picture of the barcode, for example, on your mobile phone. If you utilize Mutlisport card, your personal barcode with pair with it and the chip can be skipped as well.

Do I have to register again if I have a registration in Ostrava?

Yes. Registration from Ostrava will not suffice in Brno. We are aware that this setup is not super easy going but from official point of view, every gym needs own registration. 

Is bouldering suitable for children?

Absolutel yes, children are admirable climbers! However, it needs to be remembered that a child under the age of 13 must be under the constant supervision of a parent or other adult in all areas of the Hangar, who thereby assumes responsibility for the child.

Young people (13 – 18 years old) will need the written consent of a legal representative for independent sports movement on Hanar – available here.

What will I need for a first visit?

The beauty of bouldering is that it only takes a little! Bring comfortable sports clothes. You climb in climbing shoes and magnesium is used to keep your hands from slipping. We will lend you climbing shoes and a bag of magnesium is also available at the reception. We also recommend a towel, you will get sweaty! 

I don’t have climbing shoes; can I climb in sneakers?

Don’t worry, we’ll lend you climbing shoes. There are many sizes to choose from and we disinfect them properly after each use. You cannot boulder in other shoes. Trust us, it wouldn’t go very well. 

What about parking in Hangar?

There is a big parking lot around Hangar. You can park both in front of the front door and also behind Hangar. In case the parking is fully occupied, it´s possible to park in the idle parking area next to Hangar. 

Can I come by public transport?

We recommend a stop Ústřední hřbitov and Pražákova. It takes some 5-10 minutes from both of them. Isn´t is a perfect warmup before climbing?

Is the entrance valid full day?

Yes, it is! Even if you buy an entrance in the morning, you can stay whole day.

Is it open on weekends and holidays?

Hangar is here for you every day. Weekends and holidays. The only exception is Christmas Day.

2)     You will get redirected to registration form. Please fill all the data marked with red corner:

3)    Scroll down and choose your password. In last step it is needed to thick a consent with Terms and conditions. Please get familiar with those. After filling all needed please press a “Register” button.

4)     Voila, welcome in Hangar!
